Every cybersecurity professional starts with one essential step: understanding the network before defending it.

Before the Firewall is Part 1 of our Network Security Learning Series—a free online session designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of network security. Through practical discussions and real-world examples, participants will explore how networks communicate, where vulnerabilities exist, how cyber attacks happen, and the core concepts behind protecting modern systems.

This theoretical session lays the groundwork for Part 2: the hands-on Network Security Workshop on August 22, conducted in partnership with RIVAN IT Training, where participants will apply these concepts through practical exercises and guided labs.
